Day 83: Tonight I wanted to have a play around with light in a different way. I’ve seen the hundreds of photos of light painting and really wanted to have a go at it too. It’s a bit hit and miss but I’ve discovered you can get some very interesting images. Framing and painting with a torch is not easy when you obviously can’t see what you’re doing. Out of all the images I captured, I liked this one the most. The title just fell into place and feels so appropriate. It’s a shame I can’t feel like this about everything in my life. I suppose that’s life!
EOS 60D, 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. ISO 100, f/7.1 at 6 seconds.

ive toyed with light drawing but i dont have a tripod. love the effects the torch gave you.
I did use a tripod on this one. It as it was taken inside I could have easily have used any sturdy surface to prop my camera on. Have a go at it!
Have to get the tripod first, and that’s a spare 60 I don’t have right now. Although I’ve got some light drawings I should post in a gallery…
