Day 76: For the past two and a half months I have been following the DSLR Skills Course in Practical Photography Magazine. This course goes over the settings and theory behind basic photography. A homework task is set every month as part of the course and last months homework task was to capture a silhouette. I managed to capture a tree in silhouette on my recent visit to Dyrham Park, which I used as my homework material. While keeping my eye out for today’s photo I noticed the sun shining through this large metal fence, that produced a lovely lens flare on my Coolpix P310, while the camera exposed correctly for the rest of the sky. Some may hate this lens flare but I must admit I quite like it.
